" As you all know, our panel attorneys see Volunteer Lawyers Program clients in their offices and/or at the VLP office to advise, accept or conclude the clients' legal matters. Panel attorney, Sid Jackson, recently met with clients at the VLP office. Upon leaving, Sid explained that one client would remain at the office until her ride arrived. Unbeknownst to the VLP staff, this client had taken a taxi to her appointment. She expressed to our staff her deep appreciate for the assistance she was receiveing and made no mention fo the hardship that paying for transportation would present. As she ended her meeting with Sid, she began counting out her money in hopes she had enough to get home. Sid realized her dilemna and offered his assistance. A short while later, a runner from Sid's office appeared, introduced herself and drove the client home.
